EntThis year during 3 days in early May, professionals from all over the world had the chance to check out the fourth edition of the largest geospatial event of Latin America. Approved by more than 90% of the public, MundoGEO#Connect 2014, Conference and Trade Trade of Geomatics and Geospatial Solutions, was held in the city of Sao Paulo, in the Frei Caneca Convention Center, bringing together over 4,550 participants, from over 30 differente countries.
During the 30 activities of the conference there were 185 speakers and instructors, and 57 exhibitors in the trade fair. Featuring an innovative program in order to meet everybody’s demands, the conference included seminars, courses, special events, workshops, forums and parallel meetings, offering several options for updating and training in geospatial technologies.
“This year MundoGEO#Connect Conference and Trade Fair fully achieved its objectives, because even with World Cup expectations and the economic instability – and also the presidential election – the event has attracted a large number of professionals from many areas,” says Emerson Granemann, director of MundoGEO. “Furthermore, we had a significant expansion of the academic audience and the exhibitors” concludes Granemann.
