Viridien, an advanced technology and HPC company, has announced a partnership with AMESA, the enterprise AI platform for operational autonomy, to provide the high-performance computing infrastructure behind AMESA Agent Cloud.

The partnership marks the next phase in AMESA’s efforts to make trusted AI autonomy easier to deploy and scale. AMESA is already working with some of the world’s largest companies to build and train AI agents for critical operational use cases across industrial process control and supply chain & logistics. With Viridien, AMESA customers can access enterprise-scale HPC/AI infrastructure and expertise without having to build, manage or maintain their own high-performance computing environments.

The partnership leverages Viridien’s decades of experience delivering high-performance computing solutions for complex, compute-intensive workloads. By combining dedicated HPC/AI infrastructure, expertise and managed operational support, Viridien enables AMESA to provide customers with a scalable, high-performance environment for training and deploying autonomous AI systems. The collaboration highlights the growing need for specialized infrastructure and operational expertise to support enterprise AI workloads and reinforces Viridien’s role as a trusted partner for organizations deploying AI at scale.

Based on AMESA’s testing, Viridien’s managed HPC environment delivered a 10x to 30x improvement in agent training performance compared with AMESA’s previous hosted environment, enabling customers to train, test and iterate agents significantly faster and shorten the path from initial development to production deployment.

Alistair Fulton, CEO, AMESA, said: “Enterprises are ready to move beyond AI that simply provides answers and recommendations to AI that can be trusted to make complex operational decisions. Our customers are already applying AMESA to some of their most critical processes. Our partnership with Viridien gives them the managed infrastructure to train and scale these systems much faster, without requiring them to become experts in high-performance computing. It’s an important step in making operational autonomy practical at enterprise scale.”

Viridien’s dedicated and managed AI training infrastructure will serve as the hosted foundation for AMESA Agent Cloud, providing customers with access to high-performance computing resources for training AI agents and supporting future hosted autonomous AI services.

At the same time, AMESA’s deployment model preserves enterprise flexibility. Organizations can run AMESA in their own cloud or on-premises infrastructure, or use AMESA Agent Cloud powered by Viridien. This allows enterprises to choose the deployment model that best fits their security, data governance, performance and infrastructure requirements while maintaining a consistent approach to developing and training autonomous agents.

Gretell Otano, VP, Growth & Strategy, HPC & Cloud Solutions, Viridien, said: “Performance, reliability and scalability become increasingly important as organizations move AI initiatives into production. AMESA is tackling complex industrial use cases, and we’re pleased to support that effort with Viridien’s managed HPC/AI infrastructure, optimization expertise and operational support needed to train and deploy these systems at scale.”

AMESA’s approach is built around simulation and machine teaching, allowing an organization’s experts to teach AI agents how to make complex operational decisions and validate their performance before those agents are deployed into real-world environments. As enterprises expand these systems across processes, facilities and business units, the ability to rapidly train and iterate agents becomes increasingly important.

Together, AMESA and Viridien provide a scalable foundation for enterprise-scale operational AI, helping customers move from initial use cases to broader enterprise deployment.
