With the popularity of spatial information and the improvements of data-collecting instruments, requirements for spatial data processing functions, across fields, are gradually increasing. In view of this, SuperGIS Desktop 10, which will soon be launched to worldwide users, contains new and more multidimensional functions, enabling increased applications in diverse domains. SuperGIS Desktop 10 also enhances Process Designer, which is capable of connecting and mashing up all the analyses you need to quickly form a specific GIS workflow. In order to improve a user’s experience in sharing and taking advantage of projects or GIS workflows, the enhanced Process Designer allows you to sketch your GIS workflow and descriptions of each analysis with a process attribute table; in this way, the GIS workflow that you designed can be effortlessly shared with more users. Additionally, you can deal with multiple data records in an easier way by dragging layers into the tool manipulating dialog box and pasting parameters just once instead of repeatedly coping and pasting each time.

Functions that are added into SuperGIS Desktop 10 improve tools for spatial analysis and data processing. For example, you can apply the new proximity analyses to find the nearest feature, to view the distance between your own shop and the nearest potential customers or the nearest competitor, or to search out the nearest source of infection that patients are susceptible to for further disease prevention. The updated SuperGIS Toolkit also provides diverse advanced analysts and spatial data processing functions and statistics. With SuperGIS Toolkit, users can calculate frequency by which a specified feature appears, or compute statistics after surveying and collecting biological data of species and quantity of species in the field. Even when the land plan is altered, the advanced statistics tool allows users to easily analyze the altered areas. The new SuperGIS Toolkit meets more requirements from users and assists them in processing spatial data in a more efficient way.

SuperGIS Desktop 10 will soon be released worldwide. Stay tuned, we will be releasing more details about SuperGIS Desktop 10.
