MicroImages’ TNTserver version 2006:72 has been released for publishing geodata on the web. TNTserver is fully-compliant with the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) specifications for Web Map Servers (WMSs), so users can view the geodata content with any freely available WMS viewer, such as Google Earth, Google Maps, NASA World Wind, or TNTmap Viewer.

TNTserver supports geodata collections of any size and complexity, whether a few hundred gigabytes or many terabytes. MicroImages has successfully tested the TNTserver 2006:72 for 100% compliance with the ISO 19128 specifications for a WMS. These tests use test data and a test sequence provided by OGC. MicroImages has also submitted this release version to the OGC for their WMS certification.

TNTserver development efforts continue for version 2007:73, focusing on the implementation of the three mandatory operations in the OGC Web Feature Service (WFS) specification (proposed ISO 19142): Get Capabilities, Describe Feature Type, and Get Feature.
