At this year’s Futurecom event held in Sao Paolo, Brazil, HEAD Aerospace welcomes you to visit their booth to learn more about their Earth Observation products and services and IoT solutions with the Skywalker constellation.

Skywalker is HEAD’s very own satellite IoT constellation comprising 48 LEO satellites, currently 8 in orbit, providing data collection 8-10 times a day worldwide, enabling immediate service to the market. In August 2022, HEAD launched the HEAD-2G satellite adding to the constellation, with more future launches scheduled to complete the constellation in 2025.

When completed, The Skywalker Constellation will have data collection capability from every minute to every hour, depending on latitude. It carries AIS, future VDES, and ADS-B payloads for providing global ship detection and airplane monitoring services. HEAD takes advantage of mature terrestrial IoT terminal development with a LoRa chipset that allows access to affordable, low-power-consuming, and reliable ground terminals. HEAD encourages collaborating with an always-expanding network of experienced industry experts worldwide to deliver IoT communication services and solutions to local and global customers.

As a one-stop-shop service provider with access from multiple Earth observation (EO) satellite constellations to complex turnkey geospatial solutions, HEAD has a global network of more than 120 partners that access HEAD’s centralized geodata hub of satellite imagery. Collected from more than 86 in-orbit satellites, HEAD offers imagery with resolutions ranging from 30cm to 1m, tri-stereo imaging, true-color night imaging, hyperspectral, video from space, C-Band, X-band, and L-Band SAR. By 2023, the EO constellation expects to be complete with 130+ satellites.

The strategic partnership with Chinese satellite operators enables the supply of satellite imagery from Chinese sensors across the globe. These industry-leading satellites provide enormous capacity and monitoring capabilities due to frequent revisit times from the ever-growing number of sensors. Every 15 minutes revisit anywhere in the world from 9 am to 5 pm, or daily everywhere, is possible with 63 in-orbit submeter resolution optical satellites, with 138 in the complete deployment of the Jilin-1 Constellation.

HEAD has representation globally, with subsidiaries in France and the Netherlands and local employees on each continent. Together the team speaks native or fluent Arabic, Afrikaans, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Kazakh, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

Futurecom is the biggest digital content and relationship platform in the connectivity universe in Latin America, boosting the market for more than 20 years, combining exposure, experiences, debates, networking, and demonstrations on the impacts of technology applications in practically all segments of the economy. The event is at the São Paulo Expo from October 18 -20, 2022, from 10 am to 8 pm, with an extension of content and networking on their online platform.

HEAD’s Spanish, Portuguese, and English-speaking representatives, Mr. Oscar Delgado, Raghu Das (IoT), and Roberto Varela (EO), will be ready to meet you at booth #A20!
